Seint Krøket at Troll Rally 2011

Seint Krøket have been invited to play at Troll Rally, Norways biggest motorcycle rally. This takes place at Fyresdal in Telemark, on the weekend 26-28th of August 2011.

We'll be playing some of our own songs, but of course we'll throw in a couple of covers as well. Even a few new songs, never performed live before can be experienced on that fine saturday afternoon of August 27th.

For those of you who'll be there: we'll hit the stage around 4 in the afternoon. See you there!

Seint Krøket concert - November 14 2009

If you want to see Seint Krøket live, then November 14 is the date to reserve in your calendar. We're inviting all friends, relatives, fans and anyone else interested to MCEKs house in Hukenveien 31 (Grorud, Oslo).

We'll be playing all our own songs, a few cover songs and who knows - maybe a few surprises too. So get rocking with Seint Krøket in November. See you there!

Seint Krøket's first concert ever...

So, it has finally happened. Seint Krøkets debut concert took place on the 26th of June 2009, at the Kawazaki Z1 Rally 2009. The event is organized by the Z1 Owners Club Norway, and we were invited to play there by our friends in the band The Alloys.

The concert went fairly well, even if most of the people who were there were more interested in revving their motorcycle engines and burning rubber than listening to music, let alone come down to the stage to watch the concert.

But we played our songs, and in the end we were quite pleased with ourselves. The hours of practice we put down before the concert paid off, and we managed to perform the songs as good as we could hope for.

Hopefully we'll play for a bigger (or at least more interested) audience next time. The video below is us performing "Tush", the ZZ Top classic. Check out our "videos" page for more songs from the concert.

New video - Bli Sett

Here's our latest video. In this one we're performing our song "Bli Sett". The song is about the incredible stuff people will do in reality shows to get themselves seen on TV.

It's recorded during a rehearsal we had with two other bands... (they're the ones applauding at the end)

Seint Krøket's got a new bassplayer

After we parted ways with Olav in February 2009, we continued as a trio for a while. But it soon became obvious that we needed some more punch in the rythm department. So we started looking for a new bassist. With a couple of links to our "ad" here on the webpage and on Facebook, we got in touch with Håkon.

Håkon has experience from a few other bands, and is a very good bass player. He's got a playing style that suits us perfectly, and he got into our songs real quick on the first rehearsal.

Right now the four of us are practising for a gig we'll play at the end of june, which will be very exciting for us all... Stay tuned for more Seint Krøket news :-)
